This weekend Outlook Adventure ran a climbing taster session at the Barn Climbing wall just outside of Launceston. The course was for people who have no climbing experience and designed to be a fun session for the absolute beginner.During the session we covered the following topics:
Warming up
Basic climbing and movement technique
How to put a harness on correctly
How to tie into your harness
How to belay
How to hold a falling climbing and how to lower off a climber
It was good to see a great turn out and everyone is already looking forward to the session.
